thunder-stepper
they said the thunder-stepper could make rain,
i would ask too how could a creature make rain.
we humans thought we couldn't do that and yet
god says we should, when you need it i will
conjure it, but many times there was none,for
many years and then a deluge a flood,
thunder stepper was different his vast ears
you thought would listen,
and yet they also directed its thoughts to the
matter of atmospherics,clouds and wind,
that you might need.
and then we come to
prophet, the singer. the monk.the wizard,
no one had seen the eyes of the prophet.
merely their golden shine.
i was scared to ask the prophet what he had seen,
he said war the likes of which you could
not wish upon anyone,
disease that would be hard to survive,
fire and flood.
But you know what he said then, trials and tests
determine your strength to love, even those
you consider your uttermost enemy
is merely a reflection of yourself.
but then i asked him, how do you tell
that enemy who shoots at you and blows
you up, what oh prophet do i say to such a person,
who expects only submission to their will.
the prophet then spoke, he said the one who has
learnt they will only get their will by shooting at you,
or blowing you up, their crisis is no deeper than
it ever could be, their very soul,their atma
their conscience knows they do wrong by all,
their dreams do. to live with that for eternity
is that greatest fear for us and the greatest truth.
and we all knowingly do wrong.
the prophet spoke further, love your fellows as yourself,
help others as you wish to be helped,
do for others as you want done for yourself,
i pray you find your greatest love,
or better still many loves.
a good family that loves.
